Kathryn Bernardo has admitted she once thought of quitting show business during her 2017 fantasy drama series “La Luna Sangre.”
“Recently parang I don’t like na. ‘Di naman yung ayoko na, parang kinwestyon ko yung sarili ko, yung kakayanan ko, maybe nung La Luna Sangre ” Bernardo shared during her interview at “Tonight With Boy Abunda” aired Monday.
Bernardo said many did not know what she was going through, but it was tough: “Lalo nung nag-boom yung social media, ang daming nagke-question, ang daming opinions.”
She said people’s comments were having an impact on her.
“Alam ko hindi mo siya dapat papansinin pero minsan talaga mapapansin mo siya and pumasok siya for a time, especially nung La Luna Sangre. Yes, naapektuhan,” Bernardo shared.
However, she said she eventually overcame this phase also during the run of “La Luna Sangre.”
“Na-overcome ko din siya. Especially nung gumawa na ako ng movie after La Luna,” she said.
Bernardo starred in “Can’t Help Falling In Love” with boyfriend Daniel Padilla in April 2017 after “La Luna Sangre” ended in March of the same year. /cbb
