MANILA, Philippines—Pop Rock Superstar Yeng Constantino reflected on her change and growth as she turned 30 on Tuesday, Dec. 4.
Constantino admitted she used to be scared of growing old because she thought, “as you get older, pa-boring nang pa-boring ang buhay.”
Other things that added to this perspective, she said, were the notions of getting lesser friends and more responsibilities.
She added: “Puro trabaho na lang. Mawawalan na ng amor sa jowa. Aaga na matulog. Magiging masungit parang si Señora at dadami na ang kulubot.”
True enough, these things happened, but Constantino was positive and said: “Oo kumonti nga talaga ang kaibigan pero ang mga natitira ay TUNAY.”
The singer shared how she overcame everything by seeing the good side of these things she used to dread: “Puro trabaho nga pero mas minahal ang ginagawa dahil mas nakikita ko na’ng ito ay biyaya.”
She also put fights in marriage to a positive lights, saying “di ibig sabihin nun di na mahal ang isa’t isa.”
Constantino admitted becoming irritable, but she eventually learned how to be forgiving and humble.
“At narealize na ang WRINKLES ay simbolo ng KARANGALANG tumanda. 30. Salamat Lord sa buhay na ito,” she said. /jpv
