Zia Dantes has gotten her first haircut and she wanted to have a matching hairstyle with mom actress Marian Rivera.
“Since most of us probably won’t remember the details of our first haircut, we decided to document this ‘ceremonial’ activity for our little Letizia,” Zia’s dad Dingdong Dantes on Monday wrote in an Instagram post.
The video of little Zia’s first haircut was posted on The Dantes Squad Youtube channel titled “Hair Like Mama.”
In the video, three-year-old Zia said she wanted to have bangs just like her mom, so they went to Rivera’s longtime hairstylist Celeste Tuviera.
Dantes was first to trim Zia’s hair since they believe in superstitions. Rivera explained, “Naniniwala kami sa pamahiin na, kung sino ang unang gugupit ng buhok, magiging kasing talino nito ang bata. Kaya si Dad dapat ‘yun.”
The video showed how behaved Zia was and how she became elated after having the same haircut as her mom. /je
