Kevin Zegers’ film career included starring in the popular “Air Bud” movies, back when he was a kid actor. He eventually grew up before audiences’ eyes, and took on riskier roles, such as the one in the acclaimed drama, “Transamerica.”
More recently, he appeared in “Fear the Walking Dead” as the suave villain Melvin. The 34-year-old actor, however, is unlike his most recent portrayal, as he is a happy family man—married for a couple of years already, and a father to twin kids.
On Instagram, he often talks about his wife, Jaime Feld. “Lucky men find women like this: strong, loving, powerful, sensitive, successful and kind,” Zegers wrote alongside one of her photos. “I’m proud that my daughters get a daily reminder of what a woman is… My wife manages to accomplish balance between her family and career with an ease I could never muster.”
Last August, they celebrated their fifth anniversary.
“I never planned on getting married,” said Zegers on the caption of their wedding photo. “Then again, I never planned on meeting someone like Jaime. Happy anniversary, babe. Five years, in the blink of an eye.”
On his 3-year-olds Zoe and Blake, also regulars on his Instagram page, he previously wrote, “The simple fact that I get to call these girls mine is a miracle. Gifts come in many shapes and forms. I’ve been lucky in my life but… I hit the jackpot.”—OLIVER PULUMBARIT
