‘Three Words to Forever’ opens to P6.5 million on first day

“Three Words to Forever,” starring Sharon Cuneta, Richard Gomez and Kathryn Bernardo, earned over P6.5 million gross sales when the movie first opened in cinemas on Wednesday.

Star Cinema on Thursday announced the news in an Instagram post captioned: “Maraming maraming salamat po sa pagmamahal sa #ThreeWordsToForever!”

The Megastar also thanked viewers for their support in her reunion movie with Gomez saying, “THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR WATCHING OUR MOVIE!!!”

Cuneta, then, invited the audiences to watch the film “not just because it is beautiful, but because it MIGHT (might only) just be Richard’s and my last one together.”

“Unless there’s a beautiful love story that comes along. Or whatever. Thank you,” she added.

Directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, “Three Words to Forever” tackles family issues and serves as Cuneta-Gomez team-up’s comeback film since their last project in 2003 “Walang Kapalit.”

Joining the cast of the film shot in Ormoc, Leyte are Joross Gamboa, Tommy Esguerra, Freddie Webb, Liza Lorena and more.   /muf
