Gretchen Ho represents PH in US exchange program
Volleyball player and television host Gretchen Ho recently flew to the United States to represent the country in an exchange program under the State Department.
Ho shared on Sunday a letter from the White House stating her selection in the said exchange program captioned: “Those once-in-a-lifetimes.”
According to the official Instagram of the US Embassy in the Philippines, Ho will take part in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), specifically, the Edward R. Murrow Program for Journalists on Media Responsibility in an Age of Disinformation.
In the program, she and other participants will “assess the impact of social media, citizen journalism, and alternative forms of reporting, and examine strategies that support responsible and ethical reporting in an increasingly complex information environment.”
Ho also shared some moments from her trip in a series of Instagram stories with one photo posing with other Philippine delegates.
