Andi Eigenmann now appreciates city life after moving to Baler

Andi Eigenmann has admitted “going crazy” about being in the city for a month, but said she now appreciates the life in Manila.

“Knowing that this is only temporary keeps me optimistic about everything Manila has to offer,” she said in an Instagram post on Monday.

Eigenmann expressed how she now enjoys everything she used to hate doing when she was still based in the city “like going to the mall for example.”

“For some odd reason running errands makes me feel like such an adult and I love it,” she added.

The 28-year-old actress said how ironic it was that the only way she learned how to appreciate the city life “is by not being based in it.”

She said in jest that “maybe it’s true what they say: you’ll never know what you have till it’s gone” but quickly retracted by saying she “would never replace island life for city life in a million lifetimes.”

It was in June when the actress said she has foregone the bustling city in exchange for a simpler and more laid-back life in Baler, Aurora.

After growing close to the people in Baler, Eigenmann realized she wanted her daughter Ellie to grow up there. /cbb
