LOOK: Gab Valenciano pens sweet birthday message for new girlfriend

After recently introducing his new girlfriend, Joann Santiago, Gab Valenciano wrote a sweet birthday message for her via Instagram.

Valenciano shared a video where he asked Santiago to be his girlfriend while scuba-diving in Anilao, Batangas.

“We are hours away from celebrating your very special day, but I just can’t help but post this already,” Valenciano wrote on Tuesday.

He added: “I want you to know that I appreciate your beautiful mind, I appreciate your willingness to help others without expecting anything in return, your selflessness, your kindness, your love for your family and friends, your faith and most of all, your heart.

The 30-year-old performer also said Santiago taught him to “love life again” when he used to feel “anger, bitterness and hopelessness.”

“All those years of hardship are nothing compared to a single day with you,” he added.

Valenciano first introduced Santiago as his girlfriend in an Instagram post last Saturday, Nov. 17, describing her as his “second wind in life.”
