Calvin Abueva’s ‘friendship’ makes Vice Ganda happy

Vice Ganda has admitted Calvin Abueva’s “friendship” makes him happy, adding that he feels secure whenever he’s with the basketball star.
The comedian shared that, unlike before that he has to hide whenever he’s out in public with someone, he feels calm and unworried whenever he’s out with Abueva.
“‘Yung friendship niya sa akin, pinapasaya ako noon. At saka ‘yung relationship ko with him and his family na napakabait sa akin, ayun, masaya ako doon,” the comedian said in an interview over the weekend at the opening of his latest branch of cosmetics business in Taguig City.
“‘Yun lang, ‘yung panatag ang loob ko. Hindi katulad dati, kapag may kasama akong kaibigan, natatakot ako. Kapag nakikita kami ng ibang tao sa labas, ‘yung lagi kaming kubli nang kubli. Ngayon, parang may kapayapaan ‘yung puso ko, wala akong iniisip,” Vice Ganda added.
The comedian also shared how the “It’s Showtime” staff enjoyed the delicious adobo the Phoenix Fuel Masters forward sent to Vice Ganda.
“Ang sarap nung adobo, in-enjoy ng buong ‘Showtime,’ pati ‘yung staff tumikim. Ang dami nyang niluto. Pati kanin niluto niya,” Vice said. “Siya ang nagluto no’n. In-IG niya nga, niluto niya sa pugon kasi nagluluto talaga siya.”
Vice Ganda, however, clarified they are not exclusively dating.
“Ay, hindi kami exclusively dating, hindi kami ganun,” he noted when sought for comment about rumors indicating he and Abueva are an item.
“Ay oo! Bakit naman natin ipagkakait sa iba! Ay hindi! Hindi rin ako clingy,” he added. /kga
