Primo Arellano learned about animals during his visit to the “home zoo” of his parents’ godfather, who also happens to be a certified pet lover, TV host Kim Atienza.
Drew Arellano, Iya Villania and their two sons, Primo and Leon, went to visit Atienza’s house on Saturday, Oct. 17. Villania filmed their family’s adventure at the “Matanglawin” host’s zoo-like abode via her Instagram Stories on the same day.
“Today, we went to visit ninong and his pets,” Villania wrote in a video of Atienza carrying Primo while showing the two-year-old his prized macaws.
The toddler also had the chance to meet one of Atienza’s pet dogs.
It seems Atienza’s dogs were the least of the pets Primo had to be worried about — he had to face a reticulated python.
His brother Leon, meanwhile, appeared to be unbothered by the giant snake in front of him.
The group later went outside to pay Atienza’s outdoor pets a visit. The delighted Primo listened intently to what Atienza was saying while marveling at the pool of koi fishes.
It looks like the two-year-old found a liking for Atienza’s turtles and tortoises. The toddler did not hesitate in touching and interacting with the reptiles.
When it comes to touching a frog, however, Primo was a little undecided. He made sure his father laid a finger on the amphibian first before he followed suit.
Villania was extremely pleased when she was able to capture Primo’s Instagram-worthy smile after their adventure ended.
Posting a photo of him and the Arellano family, Atienza thanked them for visiting his house.
The delighted godfather added, “Hope the kids enjoyed the animals!” JB
