GMA premiered its Christmas station ID entitled “Ipadama ang #PusoNgPasko” on Sunday, Nov. 18, at “Sunday Pinasaya.”
Veteran journalist Jessica Soho introduced the video: “Marami sa atin ang excited makatanggap ng regalo’t aguinaldo, pero marami rin ang mas excited magbigay at makapagpadama ng pagmamahal, hindi lang tuwing Pasko, kung hindi sa buong taon.”
The Kapuso Christmas hymn was performed by some of GMA’s best singers including Acielle Santos, Christian Bautista, Julie Anne San Jose, Mark Bautista and “The Clash” grand winner Golden Canedo.
“Ipadama and #PusoNgPasko’s” lyrics were written by Rexy Jolly Conopio and BJ Camaya while the music was composed and arranged by Ann Figueroa.
The song gives the message of Christmas’ real essence — to give back and share blessings.
The video featured Kapuso personalities and their respective advocacies with Marian Rivera for the Big Dreams for Little People and Heart Evangelista for Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS).
Among the stars that participated in the Kapuso Christmas hymn were Pambansang Bae Alden Richards, Jennylyn Mercado, Ai-Ai delas Alas, Dingdong Dantes, Carla Abellana, Lovi Poe, Tom Rodriguez, Miguel Tanfelix, Bianca Umali, Derrick Monasterio, Gabbi Garcia, Iya Villania, Drew Arellano “Eat Bulaga” hosts Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, Maine Mendoza, Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola and Paolo Ballesteros.
GMA News and Public Affairs journalists Mike Enriquez, Vicky Morales, Mel Tiangco, Howie Severino, Mariz Umali, Raffy Tima, Kara David and Pia Arcangel were also spotted in the station ID. /cbb
