Kris Aquino to siblings: ‘My problems are no longer yours to carry’

Kris Aquino won’t let her siblings get involved with her problems anymore, she said Thursday in a two-part Instagram post.

“Family isn’t measured by being there for each other when one is suffering,” the queen of all media wrote.

Aquino also explained why there have been no photos of her with her siblings since the issue about her business emerged.

“Because their bunso (youngest sibling) has matured and she realizes that she and only she should be battling when the court cases finally start,” she said.

She, however, recounted the many times her siblings offered her help, given that she is the youngest among all of them.

Aquino narrated how her brother and former President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III – “who never asks for favors for himself” – made effort to help her when she had health problems.

In August, when “cracks” in her business started to show, she said her sister Pinky offered many times to join the mediation with the other party. Aquino has labeled her company problem as a “financial betrayal” allegedly committed by a business partner.

The media mogul expressed how her siblings have already “endured more than enough scrutiny” in the past, especially her three sisters “who never wanted public lives.”

“I REFUSE TO ADD FURTHER TO THEIR BURDENS,” she said.

She ended the post by saying: “The values of our family can be measured when the beleaguered can bravely say, DO NOT WORRY ABOUT ME, i love you enough that my problems are no longer yours to carry.”

Aquino on Wednesday filed criminal complaints against her former business partner Ricardo M. Falcis II for allegedly using funds from her company for personal use. /kga
