Teddy Geiger announced Saturday, Nov. 10, that she was engaged to actress Emily Hampshire.

The 30-year-old singer-songwriter known for the 2006 hit “For You I Will (Confidence)” broke the happy news on Instagram.

“I love this woman so much she treats me like a lil princess and makes me laugh harder than anyone,” she said of Hampshire, 37, who starred in the Darren Aronofsky film “Mother!” and Canadian sitcom “Schitt’s Creek.” In the picture, she and Hampshire share a selfie in bed.

In the next post, Geiger posted a series of photos clutching a blanket while in bed, teary-eyed and wearing a diamond ring.

“Which is why… When she asked me if I wanted to spend the rest of our lives together I said… YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES INFINITE YES,” she revealed.

It’s not clear when the couple started dating, though they began posting about each other in August.

Geiger announced on social media in October 2017 that she was transitioning to become a woman. In a Rolling Stone interview published yesterday, Nov. 14, Geiger said she knew she was a girl since she was 5.

Though it had been three years since she started appearing more femme, such as going out in public with painted nails, she felt it was about time she came clean with her gender identity.

“Nobody really knew me, and all of this stuff that now on a day to day basis I don’t have to deal with,” she said. “It is a huge weight lifted.”

Geiger was 16 when “For You I Will (Confidence)” was released and stepped out of the business by 21. She has since returned to the music scene as a songwriter, creating pop songs including Shawn Mendes’ “Treat You Better” and One Direction’s “Little Black Dress.” This month, she released the album “LillyAnna.”  /ra
