Actress Ara Mina considered herself lucky for being able to see the beauty of Petra in Jordan after the ancient city recently experienced flash floods.
“I’m still lucky and my group because we were able to see this beautiful and amazing place of Petra after the heavy rains and flash floods before we arrived,” Mina said Monday in an Instagram post.
The actress recommended visiting Wadi Musa or Valley of Moses as “it’s a historical place mentioned in Bible and Quran when Moses hit the stone and manage to bring water from dessert.”
Another historical landmark she visited in Petra was Al-Khazneh that is considered “as one of the most elaborate temples in the ancient Arab Nabatean Kingdom city of Petra.”
In another Instagram post, she posed with a view of Amman City, the capital of Jordan.
The actress also shared visiting Jerash City located north of the capital that has been inhabited since the Bronze Age.
Mina flew to Jordan on Sunday and expressed her excitement to tick off another item from her bucket list. /cbb
