Being a celebrity in the Philippines requires one to be a jack of all trades. Rhian Ramos set out to prove she is as good a singer as she is an actress when she impressed an American music exec with her whistle register.

Jason Lent, music producer, president and co-founder of Hawaiian indie record label AMBLVD Records took to Instagram, yesterday, Nov. 11 to express his admiration for Ramos. Uploading photos of the “Kung Paano Siya Nawala” actress during the recording session, Lent sang Ramos praises, dubbing her the “Triple Threat Superstar.”

“I’ve been blessed to have met and work with some of the most amazing people in my journey so far… one of them was this amazing ‘Triple Threat Superstar’ Rhian Ramos [who is] not only talented but real AF!” Lent wrote. “I’ve worked with tons of ‘celebrities’ but last night, literally one of the most epic nights in Manila so far! Please give Rhian some shades, cause the futures bright with this one.”

“Plus she whistles like no other lol (you’ll see what I mean when the track comes out),” he added. “But seriously just an amazing soul.”

Ramos reposted clips of her recording session on her Instagram Stories yesterday. While no details have been released so far regarding her music, the actress can be heard singing an English song whose lyrics and melody she apparently wrote, as she stated on her Twitter page, Nov. 10.

While Ramos is predominantly known for her acting career, she has been singing for almost a decade. She first launched her singing career in 2009, showcasing her singing prowess with “You”, the carrier single of the 15-track “Audition Dance Battle” album of the online game “Audition”. JB
