LOOK: Anne Curtis, Erwan Heussaff explore Africa for honeymoon

After taking a break from social media, Anne Curtis finally shared some snapshots with husband Erwan Heussaff during their trip to Africa.

“Where I’ve been the past 7 days. Hello, Africa,” the “It’s Showtime” host wrote in an Instagram photo on Wednesday.

In a series of Instagram stories, she shared the places they’ve been to so far for their “long overdue” honeymoon.

“Get ready for some Nat Geo material, there’s so much and it was so amazing and I can’t wait to share them with you,” she said.

Their first stop was at Mana Pools National Park in the far north of Zimbabwe.

Curtis gave a tour of their tent with the Instagram story captioned: “We could hear the hippos right outside the tent in the Zambezi River.”

The view from their tent were elephants freely strolling around. Curtis even spotted African wild dogs and said, “One of the scariest experiences of my life. Sitting with a pack of African wild dogs.”

In another Instagram story, Curtis shared a clip of elephant named “Bozzie” whose talent is to “reach for food on his hind legs.”

Curtis said Bozzie has to wear a special tracking collar so poachers know that he is being monitored since his “beautiful tusks” can put him in danger.

The couple also experienced riding a canoe to the Zambezi River that had “elephants, zebras, crocodiles, hippos and birds.”

After Mana Pools, Curtis and Heussaff headed to Somalisa Camp in Hwange National Park, west of Zimbabwe.

This time, the couple had a fancier lodge that even had a watering hole for the elephants.

Curtis also shared snapshots of giraffes and lions they witnessed during their safari tour.

The couple capped off their adventure in Zimbabwe with a romantic dinner before going to Zambia.

In Zambia, the two swam to the edge of the Devil’s Pool at Victoria Falls dubbed as the world’s “ultimate infinity pool.”

Curtis even posed at the edge of the falls and captioned the photo with “Look, Mum and Dad. I’m flying. Not for the faint hearted.”

Curtis and Heussaff flew to Africa last October 30 to celebrate their first wedding anniversary.

They tied the knot on November 11 last year at Queenstown, New Zealand after being in a relationship for six years. /muf
