As Teresita Ssen “Winwyn” Marquez ended her reign as Reina Hispanoamericana, does this mean this will be the last time that her fans will see her in the beauty pageant scene?
It appears not. Marquez admitted that she is actually eyeing another contest, as revealed in her Instagram Story Tuesday, Nov. 6.
The beauty queen was asked a question by one of her followers: “May chance ba na sumali ka ulit and makita ka namin ulit sa international pageant?” (Is there a chance that we will see you again in an international pageant?)
“Bahala na next year (Come what may next year),” she replied.
Another netizen got curious on what pageant she will join next, if given the chance, to which Marquez replied: “To be honest. Miss Universe or Miss Supranational. But I really am leaning towards Miss Supranational.”
Marquez recently passed her crown to Venezuela’s Nariman Battikha Yanyi on Saturday, Nov. 3 in Bolivia. She was the first Filipina to bag the title last year.
Meanwhile, the Philippines’ contender in the pageant, Alyssa Muhlach Alvarez, failed to secure a spot in the top 10. JB
