Actor and recording artist Tony Labrusca admitted older women are attracted to him more than girls his age do.
“Actually sa totoo lang, hindi masyado nagkakagusto sa akin yung mga girls na age ko.” ABS-CBN quoted Labrusca on Tuesday as saying, “Laging matrona yung nagkakagusto sa akin.”
The 23-year-old actor added how interesting it was to portray the same scenario on-screen saying “Kaya nakakatuwa na biglang umabot sa point na nagka-movie na ako about that situation.”
Labrusca’s upcoming digital film “Glorious” with Angel Aquino received favorable responses from the netizens when its trailer was released on Sunday, garnering 10 million views, as of writing.
Reading the netizens’ reactions to their lusty scenes in the trailer, Labrusca expressed his appreciation for their support.
“Honestly kami po ni Angel, I will be speaking for myself, hindi naman po ako nababastos sa sinasabi nila, I’m just happy na nagsu-support po sila,” he said.
The “ML” actor also admitted how hard it was for him to do the steamy scenes at first: “It took a while but me and Angel had so much respect for each other.”
“We both just have a sense of respect for each other. I was very shy and I was honest with her about how I felt and we just try to help each other out,” he added.
“Glorious,” directed by Connie S. Macatuno, will stream on ABS-CBN’s online streaming service iWantTV on November 17.
Labrusca’s debut film “ML” with Eddie Garcia opens in cinemas on Wednesday, Nov. 7. Directed and written by Benedict Mique, the film’s initial release was last August 3 at the Cinemalaya Film Festival 2018. /muf
