Sitti goes under emergency C-section as baby’s heart rate slows

Bossa nova singer Sitti Navarro-Ramirez gave birth to her first born with husband Joey Ramirez on Sunday, Nov. 4.

The singer shared the news by posting a family photo on her Instagram account captioned: “Thank You, Lord. Issiah Dañelle, born Nov 4, 1:03pm.”

Ramirez also recounted how Sitti had to undergo emergency C-section because her baby’s heart rate decelerated twice.

“We found out after surgery that my amniotic fluid was already low, and that Lilibubs twisted her umbilical cord so much because she moved a lot – kaya raw siguro her heartbeat decelerated,” she wrote.

Nonetheless, their “Lilibubs,” now called Issiah Dañelle, was delivered just in time as her husband arrived before her contractions started.

The couple announced their pregnancy last May and revealed their baby’s gender in a Pinoy fiesta-themed party last July. Sitti and Joey married in Baguio City back in 2015. /cbb
