Giddy benefactor’s minions give poor star the runaround
Remember Giddy Benefactor who has a sketchy past?
GB seems to have a bottomless well of moolah. Such idle chatter naturally attracted potential business partners who were eager to make a quick buck.
GB, however, is not easily persuaded to part with cash—even if the one doing the pitching is a dazzling celebrity like Vibrant Goddess.
Well, GB is no slobbering fan of VG.
Minions, led by Enterprising Dilettante, made sure VG couldn’t penetrate GB’s cordon sanitaire. ED is apparently not too fond of VG, either, because of a not-so-pleasant encounter in the past.
ED ordered underlings to give hapless VG the runaround.
Dirty deed
Charmless Gadfly was never convincing in past roles.
Until now, CG couldn’t act sincere if world peace depended on it. In front of the cameras, CG kept blabbing about being extra chummy with Major Star.
But once the klieg lights were turned off, CG would start singing a different tune. According to Conniving Dullard, CG has been spreading all sorts of unsavory gossip about MS.
CG has been goading CD to badmouth MS.
It has always been CG’s style to let other people do the dirty work.
Twist of fate
It pays to keep a low profile in this business.
Rambunctious Entrepreneurs weren’t so modest about a successful venture. As expected, Covetous Subjugators got envious.
CS made life difficult for RE. CS sabotaged RE’s every move.
In a mind-boggling twist of fate, RE and CS ended up as allies against a common nemesis, Mouthy Eccentric.
Imagine that, once fierce rivals are now thick as thieves.
As they say, keep your friends close, but your enemies closer.
Freeloading lover
From the Inquirer tabloid Bandera:
The relatives of Tantalizing Artiste heaved a sigh when freeloading beau, Cantankerous Sadist, left the picture.
Even though CS wasn’t much of a charmer, TA seemed bewitched.
Sadly, CS was a certified user who kept asking for this and that expensive gadget or trinket from TA. It was too late before family and friends realized that CS had drained TA’s bank account.
Well-meaning loved ones understandably raised hell and demanded that TA cut ties with CS.
