Anne Curtis expresses excitement to be a mom

Anne Curtis became emotional after the topic of motherhood was brought up during “It’s Showtime” segment “Tawag ng Tanghalan.”

Contestant Del Maica Papas shared her experiences as a mother and how satisfying it is to see her child smile even after struggles and sacrifices.

“When I hear stories like this, it makes me even more excited to be a mom,” a moved Curtis said.

What initially started as a banter became a heartfelt exchange between co-hosts Vice Ganda and Curtis who treat each other as “sisters” and “best friends.”

Vice Ganda said: “It won’t be such a big surprise na makita ka namin kung gaano ka kagaling na nanay. You don’t have to be a perfect woman to be a perfect mother. All you have to do is have a beautiful heart and that is enough.”

“Your kid, I am very sure, will be very proud of you. You will be such a perfect mother,” the comedian added.

A tearful Curtis, in turn, expressed her support to Vice Ganda, who once admitted to the later his fear of growing old alone: “When we all grow old together, kami ni Erwan, we will always be here for you.”

“We can take you in, we will take care of you. Isa ka na rin sa magiging anak namin, eventually, when that time comes,” she added.

The episode on Thursday was shot ahead of the Undas holiday.

Curtis is in a “long overdue honeymoon” with husband Erwan Heussaff in Africa for their first wedding anniversary.
