Bangs Garcia enters Maxim USA’s Cover Girl Search semi-finals
Actress Valerie “Bangs” Garcia announced on Tuesday that she made it to the semi-final round of international men’s magazine Maxim USA’s Cover Girl Search.

“Good Morning Philippines!!! I have officially made it into the SEMI-FINALS for the Maxim Cover Girl Search @maximmag this year,” she said in an Instagram post.
As the competition gets tougher, Garcia asked for support and vote to help her get in to the last round: “Evidently, it’s getting really tougher now, so I am kindly asking for your great support to help me get into the Top 12 for the FINAL ROUND next week, November 12th!!!”

The celebrity mom also asked her supporters to purchase “Warrior Votes” which will help wounded military veterans through the Homes for Wounded Warriors.

The support will also help her support ‘House of Hope,’ an organization for young cancer patients and a foundation for those with special needs in her hometown Davao City.
Garcia announced her participation in the contest last September. She said she would utilize this opportunity to “encourage all mothers to stay healthy & fabulous despite all the challenges we’ve been through, going through, and about to go through.”
Garcia has been candid about her journey to getting back in shape after giving birth to first born Amelia last December 2017. /muf
