Vanessa Matsunaga showed off on Friday the newest addition to her family, David Nery Matsunaga Sunga.
The model-actress wrote a letter to her 8-day-old son, as well as shared his first photo on Instagram. She revealed that they welcomed David on Oct. 18.
“Dear David, You are now 8 days old and mommy is so so proud of you,” Matsunaga wrote to her son. “You are a fighter and you came into our lives to bring a joy that’s inexplicable.”
She added that she and her family’s hearts “couldn’t be fuller” since they are now four members. Matsunaga also said that David brings so much joy to his big sister, Isabella.

“All she speaks about is you,” she wrote. “She’s still very young but all she tells me is: ‘good job, mommy!’ and ‘thank you mommy for baby brother.'”
Matsunaga also told David about the things his dad, Jun, is looking forward to do: playing crossfit and basketball with him when he grows up.
“Mama, Papa, Titas, Titos and your cousins are very excited to get to know you and spoil you,” Matsunaga told him.” You just arrived and you’re already bringing so much positivity in this world.”
Matsunaga first revealed she was 30 weeks pregnant with her second child back in August, after she came back from her three-week trip to New York. /ra
