Robin Padilla still charms viewers
“Robin Padilla must now be in his 40s, but I am amazed at how he has kept his youthful glow on TV,” says Linda Zamora, an admirer: “I saw him on two ABS-CBN shows last Sunday promoting his latest teleserye and he oozed with sex appeal. He still has his trademark sanggano stance when he moves and speaks, but it didn’t bother me.
“The guy knows how to charm the opposite sex; no wonder younger women still fall for him. Had he held on as regular host of that noontime show that used to be Kris Aquino’s, I think it would have lasted longer. Kudos to his stylists for making him look good. I hope his TV show with Bea Alonzo does well.”
Other notes:
Julie Parian, a self-confessed couch potato: “My day isn’t complete without watching TV. It allows me to ‘jump’ from one country to another – and from a cooking lesson in Chinese to another one in Italian. I love Christine Jacob-Sandejas’ ‘Mobile Kusina,’ which features easy-to-cook meals for the masa.
Sincerity

“Alas, it turned out to be an unwise decision, after all. John struggled with his scripted spiels, and he kept misreading his lines! He would have fared better if the spiels were written in Filipino.”
