Why Sofia skips her beauty routine

During a guesting stint in “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” “Modern Family” star Sofia Vergara immediately clarified that she would only apply her beauty regimen when hubby Joe Manganiello isn’t around.

She slathers coconut oil all over her body, she told Kimmel. “It’s a moisturizing thing that is natural, so it doesn’t have chemicals, [and] it’s very good for you,” said Vergara, 46.

“You can put it in your hair, on your  face, your eyelashes, between your toes … everywhere! You sleep [after]. I put on a long-sleeved pajama.”

But, she does the routine only when she’s alone in bed, she said: “[I’d] be a slippery snake next to [Joe]!”

Kimmel segued to Vergara’s successful venture outside the entertainment scene, calling her an “underwear magnate.”

She responded, “I partnered with another Colombian woman (EBY cofounder Renata Black)… We give 10 percent to women to help them in life. We don’t just give them money. We give a little loan. We’ve already gotten 1,000 women since we started a year ago. Our goal is to [recruit] 1 million.”—OLIVER PULUMBARIT
