Don’t put Hayden in bad light–Vicki

/ 07:55 PM February 12, 2012

Isn’t this Love Month? Why is Cupid playing tricks on Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho? Friday noon, Vicki (@vicki_belo) caused quite a stir on Twitter world with this post: “nancycastilogne you can now openly date @haydenjr. you have my blessings. hope you’ll both be happy.”

I texted Vicki on Saturday to check on her but she did not reply. Maybe she needs space to sort things out. A mutual friend said Vicki was in Laoag but would be back in Manila that night, and that Vicki’s one request was, should I write about the issue, I should not put Hayden in a bad light. That’s how kind her heart is. She took Hayden back with open arms and an open heart after the video scandal. Hopefully, they could patch things up in time for V-day.

Nancy Castilogne could be just a passing fancy for Hayden since she has the same vibe and aura as his favorite, Katy Perry—that child-woman allure! The last time I talked to him, Hayden said he was a changed man and would never break Vicki’s heart again.

Vicki has forgiven him many times over. Would this episode be an exception? Only Cupid knows. They’ve been through hell and back together. Their love would be a terrible thing to waste.

FEATURED STORIES

A husband first

Oyo Boy Sotto is a husband first and foremost. “Even if Tin and I already have a baby,” he explains, “she’s still my priority.” Would he allow Tin to go back to show biz? “When our daughter turns 6 months, if there’s a good project for Tin, then why not? But there will be no love scenes. We’ve set that rule for each other.”

Isn’t Tin jealous of Nadine Samonte, his ex and costar in TV 5’s remake of “Valiente”? Oyo quips, “Tin and I are way past the selosan stage. In fact, Tin used to watch Nadine’s show, “The Sisters.” Nagagalingan at nagagandahan siya kay Nadine.”

Doesn’t their adopted son Kyle get jealous of his baby sister, Ondrea Bliss? “At first he wondered why may kasama na siya matulog sa gitna namin ni Tin,” Oyo says. ‘But I make it a point to have exclusive father-son bonding time with Kyle.”

What advice did Daddy Vic give him about marriage? “Never let the sun go down on a spat.” But Oyo is tight-lipped about his dad’s ever colorful love life.

‘My Beloved’

GMA 7’s “My Beloved” premieres Monday night on GMA Telebabad, top-billed by fab couple Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes. Dong portrays Benjie/Arlan, an angel of death known as “Sundo,” who takes a human form to save the life of his beloved Sharina (Marian).

How do Dong and Marian assure each other of their love? “It would be during the moments when we are beside each other in times of difficulty,” says Dong. “We emit instant relief to each other by just being around—no need for words.”

How much has their relationship matured? Dong says: “To the point that we have found new ways to appreciate each other more, with the confidence that no day will come when we will run out of reasons to love.”

Ah, ’tis the season to be cheesy and mushy.
