Prepare to excite your taste buds as top chefs Sandy Daza, Tatung Sarthou, Robby Goco, and Rolando de Garcia share their Spanish recipes to kick off the Metro Kitchen Series on Saturday, 3 p.m. at the Atrium of Shangri-La Plaza.

These top four chefs will demonstrate some of Spanish cuisine’s delicious meals perfect for family gatherings and parties.

Chef Sandy Daza, a food writer and host of “Casa Daza” and “FoodPrints” being shown on Metro Channel, will fry up everyone’s favorite Spanish Churros, sweet and crispy deep-fried dough, perfect with a cup of rich hot chocolate.

Chef Tatung Sarthou, “Umagang Kay Ganda’s” resident cook, will make a superb Fideua Negra, a Spanish dish reminiscent of paella, but using pasta instead of rice and enriched with squid ink and seafood.

Chef Robby Goco, the culinary talent behind Green Pastures, Cyma Greek Taverna, and Souv by Cyma, will demonstrate his version of Seafood Paella, a well-loved Spanish rice dish filled with fresh prawns and squid.

Last, but not the least, Chef Rolando de Garcia, resident kitchen master of Spanish bistro Wobbly Pan, will prepare his version of Callos, a traditional Spanish beef stew using tripe cooked in a rich tomato-flavored sauce.

The Metro Kitchen Series of Metro.Style aims to share kitchen-tested recipes, cooking tips and fresh chow finds from various cuisines. /jpv
