WATCH: Chiz and Heart go candid while answering adulting woes in vlog
Ever wondered what the life of Heart Evangelista and Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero is like behind the camera?
The actress and her politician rolled the cameras and opened up on being together—while answering adulting woes– in Evangelista’s vlog posted on YouTube last Saturday.
Aside from giving advice to millennials, the couple also gave a glimpse of the senator’s love life—he admitted that he was a late bloomer by having his first kiss at 17. His wife too admitted that she kissed someone when she was 18.
Escudero also showed he, too, has his ways of being affectionate to his wife. At one point, he advised that some things are not meant to be, and you will have to adjust when it comes to ambitions. He then segued: “In my case, it’s just looking after you.”
He was able to answer Evangelista’s queries about living in the adult world, such as balancing passion and income making. Escudero said for those who make money but do not like what they are doing, they can still do it outside of work. “Engage in whatever you’re passionate about,” he advised.
Evangelista too got candid on her spending. She revealed that the only time she finally held her own money was when she met her husband.
When she asked him advice on where it is best to invest for fresh graduates, Escudero could not help but share one story about Evangelista—she cried when he wanted her to go to the bank to fill out a form to open an account.
They also shared the moment of one of their dates—where it was Evangelista’s first time to ride a jeepney. The two of them rented a jeepney at night and went to the University of the Philippines–Diliman campus. What was their meal? Both of them had siomai at Aberdeen Court in Quezon City.
And since Escudero is turning 49 this October, has he figured out his purpose in life? He answered: “Hindi ko pa rin alam (I still do not know).”
“It should be a constant search, you should never be satisfied, really; you should never stop searching for whatever else you can do.” /ra
