“Signal Rock” actor Christian Bables was ecstatic to meet Korean actress Ku Hye-sun at the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF).
In an Instagram post on Monday, Bables shared a photo with the Geum Jan-di of 2009 Korean drama ‘Boys Over Flowers.’
“It was nice to meet and share a little chat with you about our film. Your interest to know more about our film and your congratulatory message were very much appreciated,” he wrote in the caption.
Bables was in Busan to attend the screening of director Chito Rono’s film ‘Signal Rock.’
The film is the country’s official entry to the 91st Academy Awards’ Best Foreign Language Film category.
Bables was also in the 2016 comedy-drama movie ‘Die Beautiful,’ which won for him the Best Supporting Actor in the Gawad Urian Awards.
He is also part of ABS-CBN’s drama series ‘Halik’ with Jericho Rosales, Sam Milby, Yam Concepcion, and Yen Santos. /ee
