Showbiz personality Kris Aquino has filed qualified theft complaint before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office against an unknown party.
In an Instagram post, Aquino shared that she went to the QC Prosecutor’s Office to personally file the complaint. She added that similar complaint was also filed in six other cities with the help of law office, Fortun Narvasa.
“This morning, nagpunta po ako sa QC Office of the City Prosecutor para personal na sumpaan ang aking qualified theft complaint. Naghain din po para sa ‘kin ang Fortun Narvasa ng parehong demanda in 6 other cities namely, San Juan, Mandaluyong, Pasig, Makati, Taguig, and Manila,” Aquino said on Friday.

Aquino revealed that the other party failed to “meet them halfway,” noting that the party spread lies against her.
“My legal teams had met with his representatives in an attempt to settle amicably, but in straight forward language-cumare bears sila. My family had advocated for peace BUT the other party failed to even meet us halfway and instead chose to spread malicious lies & falsehoods,” she said.
She then hoped that the “Philippines’ justice system will uphold the law with impartiality & fairness.” /jpv
