DEAN to come back in Manila with concert

South Korean R&B singer-songwriter DEAN is performing again in Manila on November 10, the same day as his birthday, at the New Frontier Theater (formerly Kia Theater).

Record label and distributor MCA Music Inc. announced the news via Twitter on Thursday, Oct. 11.

The popular rapper will be performing with fellow hip-hop artist SAAY with a one-night show dubbed as “DEANTRBL x SAAY.”

DEAN last performed in Manila in 2016 to promote his album “130 Mood: TRBL” held at the SM City North EDSA Skydome.

Dean, whose real name is Kwon Hyuk, began his career at the age of 16. At 20, he was under Joombas Music Group whose works include EXO’s “Growl” and Justin Bieber’s “One Less Lonely Girl.”

He debuted in the United States in 2015 with single “I’m Not Sorry” featuring Grammy winner Eric Bellinger. /muf
