Taking Back Sunday announces Manila show for 20th anniversary tour

American rock band Taking Back Sunday is set to embark on a worldwide tour in celebration of their 20th anniversary in 2019.

The band will hold a concert in Manila on January 26, 2019, at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.

“Excited to announce a Celebration of our 20 Year Anniversary with a career retrospective album ‘Twenty’ and 2019 World Tour!” the band shared on Wednesday, Oct. 10, in a Twitter post.

“Twenty,” a 21-song collection of their hits, will be released on January 11, 2019.

Taking Back Sunday will play a selection of their songs from debut album “Tell All Your Friends,” 2004 album “Where You Want to Be” and 2006 album “Louder Now.”

The band’s upcoming tour will bring their shows across North America, Australia, Asia and South America.

It won’t be the first time for the rock band to visit the Philippines as they already performed here in 2012 with a solo concert and in 2014 with Bazooka Rocks 3.

Tickets ranging from P1,500 to P4,500 will go on sale on November 17 via Ticketnet outlets and ticketnet.com.ph
