Television host and comedienne Maine Mendoza won two awards at the 8th EdukCircle Awards held at the AFP Theater on Saturday.
She was recognized as Most Influential Female Endorser and Best Female Variety Host of the year by EdukCircle International Center for Communication Studies (ICCS).
Her recent achievement was shared on Instagram by her manager, Rams David.
“Maraming salamat po sa mga Guro at kamagaral na bumoto at sa mga productong nagtitiwala sa amin. Salamat Eat Bulaga sa pag hubog kay mengay para maging isang magaling na host sa tv (Thank you to the teachers and clasmates who voted for our products and believed in us. Thank you, Eat Bulaga for training Mengay to become a good TV host),” David said in his Instagram post.
In a separate post, David said they are share the award to Mendoza’s many supporters: “Inaalay namin bilang kabahagi ng parangal na ito ang lahat ng nagmamahal at sumusuporta sa ating si Mengay (We are sharing this honor to all the supporters of Mengay).”
Meanwhile, Mendoza thanked EdukCircle and expressed her happiness in her Instagram stories on Saturday.
