The past couple of weeks sure have been tough for Queen of All Media Kris Aquino, but it seems there’s no stopping this warrior of a woman.

Aquino recently had to fly to Singapore for medical treatment. According to a press statement by her lawyer, Sigfrid Fortun, Aquino required a more comprehensive set of tests that is currently not available in the Philippines. Her health issues appeared to have been aggravated by her current ordeal that had her targeted and financially abused by someone close to her.

Aquino, however, took to social media yesterday, Oct. 3, to share to her fans an update regarding her health. Last Oct. 1, Aquino shared that all tests for tumor markers were negative. In her latest update, Aquino said she recently had 16 vials of blood drawn.

“I promised transparency- i had 16 vials of blood drawn yesterday,” Aquino wrote in an update on Instagram. “12 were drawn last week. Full results of my blood panel will take 1 week but my initial prognosis from the Singaporean allergist-rheumatologist immunologist is encouraging.”

Aquino further shared that she started taking the new medication her Singaporean doctor had prescribed. Moreover, she is heeding his advice to take it easy when it comes to releasing whatever is causing her great stress.

“I am taking to heart his advice to release at an achievable pace what caused me emotional & intellectual stress, because in his words 80% of illness is worsened by what burdens us.”

Despite her current upheaval, she was also advised to focus on her life’s positives. She said, ” I have the best sons a mother can ask God for. I have the enduring love of family & friends. And i have the 100% support of my endorsements & followers. I have our country’s best legal counsels to represent us.”

And it’s true that she has the utmost support of her genuine friends in this difficult time. Last Oct. 1, Megastar Sharon Cuneta offered words of comfort to her “baby girl” Kris and empathized with her, as she too was a victim of financial abuse by those she once trusted.

After  giving updates on her health, Aquino said she cannot wait to get back to work with her team. “I look forward to slowly going back to work, honoring all my commitments with a 100% trustworthy team starting next week,” she said.

With a clout of almost 4 million, it’s easy for Aquino to throw into the fire whoever so wronged her, if she wants to. She, however, took the high road as she requested all her fans not to post any names or accusations in her comments section, saying that a trial by publicity is unnecessary.

“I stand with FAIRLY upholding the rule of law, thus there is no need to make this a trial by publicity or one based on popular opinion- the TRUTH is already more than enough.”

The Queen of All Media is definitely back.  /ra
