As the red carpet rolled for the ABS-CBN Ball, the network’s stars arrived in their most glam looks. Some gowns and suits were even months in the making — and male stars made sure to appreciate their date’s ensemble, which could have taken hours of preparation before the big night last Saturday, Sept. 29 at Makati Shangri-La.

Matteo Guidicelli expressed his admiration for girlfriend Sarah Geronimo through a video and a heartfelt post.
The video shows some of the behind-the-scenes happenings prior to the star-studded ball, including Geronimo getting her makeup done and choosing the right jewelry to complete her look.

Both stunned in Mark Bumgarner creations, with the pop star standing out in an off-white shimmering strapless gown.
“My love, You make my whole world stop,” wrote Guidicelli on Instagram. “You were the most beautiful woman last night at the ball!!”

Meanwhile, James Reid said of his onscreen and off-screen lover Nadine Lustre: “[Nadine] was my star of the night. An absolute stunner.”

Gerald Anderson and Bea Alonzo
Though their relationship status is hazy, Gerald Anderson and Bea Alonzo turned up together in complementing shades of blue and red. The dapper actor chose to quote Eric Clapton’s “Wonderful Tonight” on his experience with Alonzo.
