“Congratulations Junjun and Jelai!!!! Can’t wait to watch this sis!!!!” Prats commented on Panganiban’s Instagram post who thanked everyone as the film already earned more than P43.7 million after two days.
The three personalities starred in the 1999 youth-oriented television series, G-mik, with Prats as Roni whose best friend was Jelai, played by Panganiban. It also starred Aquino as Junjun, John Prats as Yuan, Stefano Mori as Borj and Miko Samson as Tonsy.
Aquino and Panganiban met and played the role of sweethearts in G-mik. Their romance became real, but the pair eventually broke up around 2005.
