Luis Manzano to mom Vilma Santos: ‘Is Michael Jackson my real dad? Sagot!’

Luis Manzano, aside from having hosting gigs in several TV shows, is of course also known as the son of veteran actor and seasoned TV host Edu Manzano. But Luis might be having some doubts, after a recent humorous banter with his mother, The Star for All Seasons, Vilma Santos, on her Instagram account last Tuesday, Sept. 25.
The veteran actress-turned-politician posted a throwback photo of herself, sporting curly hair, in an all-blue retro getup. But perhaps what made the picture even more special was that in it, she posed with the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

While some fans were amazed that she was able to share that moment with the late superstar, Manzano commented on the photo with a joke, imploring his mom to answer his question: “Siya ba tunay [kong] ama Mommy?!?! Sagot!!!! Si MJ BA TUNAY KONG AMA?!?” (Is he my real father, Mommy? Answer me! Is MJ my real father?)

Santos opted to ride on his joke with her reply: “HAHAHAHAHA!! Anak ayokong sabihin mo totoo … pero inampon ka niya pero iniwan ka din sa akin!” (Son, I don’t want to tell you the truth, but he adopted you and left you to me!)

She jokingly added: “Pag naniwala mga tao … lagot ka sa akin!” (If people believe you, you’ll get in trouble with me.). Nevertheless, she assured him of her love.

Their conversation amused their fans. One @veronicaisi said that whenever she watches him sing on the show “I Can See Your Voice”, she notices how Manzano resembles a similar voice. The netizen also pointed out Manzano’s dance moves. “Now I know [why],” the netizen joked.

Meanwhile, one @banoochiewoochie also joked that Jackson being his Manzano’s real father has a huge possibility.

Another netizen, @lohreem, jokingly said that he now realizes why Manzano can pull off the King of Pop’s signature “Moonwalk”.

While Manzano may not be MJ’s son in real life, his conversation with Santos, who was a sport all throughout, showed from whom he inherited his sense of humor. JB
