Movie Trailer Review: ‘Wild and Free’

In the official full-length trailer of ‘Wild and Free’ the passion-filled scenes will surely awaken your most basic of senses. The snippets shown were that steamy, uninhibited, and all out there for everyone to see. The big screen will certainly “sizzle” with the intense onscreen chemistry of the lead stars Derrick Monasterio and Sanya Lopez. ‘Wild and Free’ is aptly titled for their very first pairing in this movie from Regal Entertainment, Inc.

There is no question that to be in love is almost a mysterious and an almost inexplicable feeling. That is a given already. However, how do you really know if what you feel is love or  lust ? Nowadays, more than ever, that fine but unmistakable line has been blurred and harder to distinguish one from the other. I believe ‘Wild and Free’ will shed more light on that and explore the differences between the two. This is one of the thoughts that entered my mind while watching the official full length trailer of ‘Wild and Free’.

Indeed, to throw caution to the wind, to not give a damn what others may think of you and her, to risk it all for someone who you believe is the one for you… that seems to encapsulate the true definition of living ‘Wild and Free’ when it comes to love.

Let me just be so blunt and say it the way it is. It is not giving a f*** about anything and anyone ! And, for Derrick Monasterio to successfully exhibit that bold, fierce, and strong-willed characterization that comes across very strongly in the big screen shows he is up for the task in this soon-to-be-released movie. This is the most mature movie role to date yet for the young actor and the same goes for Sanya Lopez who plays the love interest of Derrick Monasterio in ‘Wild and Free’.

With the both of them working together, there is a combined intangible quality that I can’t quite put my finger on–not having yet seen ‘Wild and Free’ in its entirety. And that is what precisely will make it also more interesting and enticing for moviegoers to see–especially for those who are familiar and follow Derrick Monasterio and Sanya Lopez–if they can sustain that electrifying chemistry throughout this movie.

And we will only know that when we get to see them being ‘Wild and Free’ which movie will be shown in its nationwide release on October 10, 2018.
