Expect exciting new activities with Metro Channel’s newest travel-food show “The Crawl: Spain” with food crawlers Nico Bolzico, Dani Aliaga, and Chef Willy Trullas Moreno. The show aims to search for sexy food in the streets of Spain.

The Spain edition of the show is set to explore its local cuisine and discover the different sight and restaurants in three cities — Barcelona, Madrid, and Logrono.

The food crawler trio will explore Spain to experience the following activities:

1.       HEAD TO THE BEACH

Spain boasts of exquisite and chill beaches. Start the day with a hearty plate of savory paella and fresh langoustines while you chill by the shore with your buds.

2.       RELISH IN GREAT ARCHITECTURE

No slacking off in your hotel room. Get your travel buddies up and take in all the sights to see. Make sure to visit the beautiful high-ceiling church of La Sagrada Familia, the Neo-classical monument of Puerta de Alcala, and the historic cobblestoned street of Avignon. You lot want those Instagram-worthy photos, right?

3.       EXPERIENCE AND SAVOUR GREAT SPANISH WINES

Spain is the third largest wine producer in the world, making it a wine tourism destination.  Intriguing cellars with rich history and a wide variety of spirits await. Enjoy the intricate and authentic tastes of cava, chardonnay, pinot noir, tempranillo and more.

4.       TREAT YOUR TASTEBUDS TO UNIQUE SPANISH CUISINE

The country is a paradise of scrumptious eats. Tapas in forms of anchovies, crispy croquettes, butifarras are must tries. Delicious cheese such as goat, manchego, and gorgonzola go perfect with jamon iberico and a bottle of artisanal Spanish craft beer. El Botin’s tender cochinillos (roast suckling pig) with roasted potatoes is highly recommended.

5.       VISIT MICHELIN STAR RESTAURANTS

There are a number of Michelin star restaurants, but Disfrutar is one of the finest and most enjoyable. Literally meaning ‘to enjoy’, the food it offers are exquisite and tasty. The “green and black olive,” coated in cocoa butter as well as the dainty tarte tatin pops in your mouth, while the “transparent” macaroni carbonara in special foam sauce is a delight to the senses.

6.       ENJOY THE NIGHT SCENE

No more chill drinking as you set out to the festive alleys in Las Ramblas, Gothic Quarter, El Born, and Raval. Score cocktails in sassy little spots hidden away in dark corners. It’s time to bring out the sangria, vodka, gin, vermouth and tequila and paint the town red.

7.       WATCH A FLAMENCO SHOW

No dancing is more Spanish than this. Witness a lively show at sunset to complete an awesome experience with friends.

Show airs every Saturday at 8 PM. Replays are available every Sunday (10 AM, 6 PM), Monday (8AM, 10 PM), Wednesday (12 NN), Friday (7 PM), and Saturday (9AM). Metro Channel (SKYcable ch. 52 and ch. 174 on HD). /jpv
