When a relationship ends, some people return gifts while others burn stuff to erase bitter and painful memories, but acclaimed actor Carlo Aquino said he still keeps some of the good old throwback stuff that reminds him of his six-year relationship with Angelica Panganiban.
“Meron akong mga ano iyong mga binigay niya sakin na mga CD, mga photos meron siyang binigay sakin na video hindi ko makita inis na inis ako (She gave me CDs, photos and a video that I can’t find anymore),” he said Wednesday during the press conference for their reunion movie “Exes Baggage.”
“Yung nakita ko lang yung mga photos namin saka mga diary niya hindi niya alam na naitago ko yun eh (I found the photos, her diaries. I kept those),” he added.
He even teased Panganiban that he would let fans take a sneak peek through Instagram stories, but the actress stopped him, also in jest.
Aquino and Panganiban were two of the most famous teen stars from the late ’90s to early 2000s. They had been together for six years when they decided to call it quits. They remained close, however, through the years.
Now, they’re reunited through a film that tackles situations of real-life couples. The two, however, said they are not closing doors on the possibility of getting back together. ee
