After previously meeting her grandson Alas, Kylie Padilla’s mom Liezl Sicangco has finally met her daughter’s partner Aljur Abrenica with his family, as they took off some time for a recent beach outing.

Sicangco could not help but fawn over her 1-year-old grandson. “Sight of heaven,” Padilla wrote to described the bonding moment, as seen on an Instagram post she made last Sunday, Sept. 2.

The vacation appears to be a treat from Abrenica’s parents. The actor also greeted his parents a happy anniversary, through snaps he posted on his own Instagram account — one even showed Alas being playful as he tried to snatch his grandfather’s cap.

Padilla and Abrenica were sweet and cuddly during their vacation, and at one point, Padilla joked: “Palagi ko nalang iniisip, sino mas kamukha ni alas?’ Pag nag seselfie kaming dalawa.” (I always wonder who Alas looks a lot like when we take a selfie.)

And it appears that Sicangco got along with Abrenica’s family just fine, even posing beside Abrenica’s mother in the family picture.

Sicangco is based in Australia where Padilla and her siblings grew up during their younger years. She is the ex-wife of Robin Padilla, who is now married to Mariel Rodriguez. JB
