Kapuso network GMA-7 is yet again launching another gripping drama with its upcoming series “Ika-5 Utos” that’s set for television debut starting September 10.
This series marks actress Gelli de Belen’s comeback into the Kapuso fence after seven years of being away from the network.
The ensemble cast includes premier bida-kontrabida Jean Garcia, Jeric Gonzales, Valerie Concepcion, Antonio Aquitania, Tonton Gutierrez, Inah de Belen, Jake Vargas, Klea Pineda and Migo Adecer.
Garcia, after taking a break from heavy drama, brings back her tear-jerking acting with this Laurice Guillen masterpiece.
In previous interviews, Gelli expressed that she is indeed happy about the new show and is doubly excited to work with her real-life niece Inah, who plays her daughter in the series.
Incidentally, Guillen also helmed the successful afternoon drama “Ika-6 Na Utos” and the cast hopes that “Ika-5 Utos” also hopes to make it big just as the Sunshine Dizon, Gabby Concepcion, Ryza Cenon-starrer did. /jpv
