Kathryn Bernardo reveals she barely has money on hand

She is definitely among the highest paid celebrities but it is hard to believe Kapamilya actress Kathyrn Bernardo barely has money on hand.
It was only recently that her parents permitted her to out of the country with Daniel Padilla but of course still with friends. And this is where she first got the taste of being independent, managing herself, her companions and of course, her finances.
“Iba ‘yung feeling din ikaw ‘yung responsible sa maleta mo, kung anong gate ka sa airport,” she said.
“Ang liberating ng feeling na yes wala tayo sa Pinas ngayon di mo kilala yung tao, binu-budget yung pera kasi kulang din ‘yung cash namin so ang saya,” she added.
With that being revealed, Abunda further dug in on Bernardo’s system with money.
He asked, “Dito sa Pilipinas may dala kang pera pag wala ang mommy?”
Surpirsingly, she said she barely has some in her wallet and oftentimes, she borrows from friends for transactions that need cash.
“Parati wala, nangungutang po ako parati sa kanila, card lang ako parati pag shooting or taping sometimes bigyan ako ni mama P500, P1000 pang kain,” she said.
“Tapos minsan kulang ‘yun eh manlilibre pa ko, sabihin ko guys di kaya ng budget di kayo pasok sa libre,” she added.
She even shared a funny story about Padilla of the same predicament.
“Minsan si DJ sa basement walang pang parking. Parati kaming wala pera, card lang so pag di sila tumatanggap delikado,” she said.
Her movie “The Hows of Us” is a certified box-office hit and is currently showing in cinemas nationwide. /muf
