Robi Domingo admits to being a shy guy

With his exemplary hosting skills and natural television appeal, it seems odd to know that Kapamilya actor and TV host Robi Domingo is actually a shy guy.
He admitted this during his Thursday guesting on Kapamilya daily morning talk show “Magandang Buhay.”
“Palaging binu-bully, mahiyain naman talaga ako natural eh, hindi ako pala kwento, hindi ako palausap na tao (I was always bullied and I was really shy. I rarely talk to people,” he said.
Contrary to the fun, friendly, colorful personality people see on television, the actor is actually an introvert in real life and don’t normally jell with others.
“Minsan ‘pag hindi nagtatrabaho, andun lang ako sa isang sulok tapos nakikinig lang ako sa mga usapan hindi ako masyado ‘yung nag-e-engage (Sometimes, when I’m not yet working, I just stay in a corner and listen to people. I do not engage with others a lot),” he said.
In fact, he easily loses confidence, especially when talking to women, which leads people to think he is “torpe” (shy guy).
Although he said he still is shy with girls even today, he has definitely improved his people skills since he started in showbiz.
Domingo is among the Kapamilya network’s most talented TV hosts. He started out as a housemate in the reality show “Pinoy Big Brother” and later entered showbiz.
He had been in a long-term relationship with fellow Atenean Gretchen Ho, but they’ve called it quits. Recently, he admitted dating another girl whom he described in interviews as “a friend from way back.”
He also just recently celebrated his tenth year as a Kapamilya talent. /ee
