Because basic survival skills is a must, Kidzania Manila’s newest attraction, The Disaster Preparedness Training Center, is a simulation facility for every potential hazard possible, which aims to teach kids how to respond to threats.

Young disaster response trainees aged seven to 17 years old can learn how to plan, prepare, survive and recover from natural disasters.

The facility also offers lifelike disaster scenario which will challenge them to assess the emergency situation and secure the area, find survivors and help carry them to safety, and locate exits and escape safely.

In view of the natural disasters threatening the country, the government has been conducting comprehensive awareness campaigns about the kinds of natural disasters physically possible within the Philippines as well as its cause and effect on the country’s topography and economy.
