Actress Nikki Valdez wed non-showbiz partner Luis Garcia in a private ceremony in Hong Kong.
The blooming bride wore an elegant gown with butterfly sleeves, and instead of a veil, chose a fascinator to adorn her bun. The groom chose a gray suit with a pink button-down polo and a white tie.
Joining the celebration was Valdez’s daughter, Olivia, whom she had from a previous marriage to Filipino-Canadian Christopher Lina.
“Cannot ask for anything more,” Valdez said of the special day, in a picture with Garcia and her daughter. “I love you, Jesus. Thank you for giving me the best day of my life.”
Valdez has chosen to raise her daughter as a single parent — and it seems that her new husband, a media executive, has considered Olivia as his own, even including her in his proposal to Valdez last December.
The two chose a scenic view for their wedding venue: Italian restaurant Spasso which overlooks the Victoria Harbor.
According to Instagram Stories from Nice Print Photography, the newlyweds shared a long kiss when they were finally wed — a testament to the joy they feel about their union.
Valdez and Garcia celebrated the third anniversary of their relationship last December 2017. Later that month, Garcia proposed to Valdez in Vigan on Christmas Day, in a surprise that involved both their families.
Valdez’s first marriage was in 2007. She lived in Toronto during that time. She confirmed the separation in 2010. JB
