‘Eat Bulaga!’ to be available online 24/7

To keep up with the times, “Eat Bulaga!” is embracing digital platforms to further widen its reach.

Episodes of the noontime variety program are now uploaded to its official YouTube account. It has been made available for viewing via livestream. The team behind the show has also started producing exclusive content.

“Eat Bulaga Behind the Scenes,” for instance, has the hosts putting themselves in the shoes of the production team, be it a production assistant, floor director, social media manager or researcher.

“The vision is to make the show 24/7 for people online,” Jeny Ferre, senior vice president for creatives and operations, said in a statement. “You can check videos and watch episodes anywhere, anytime you want.”

“Bulaga,” which first aired on July 30, 1979, has kicked off its yearlong series of celebrations and countdown to its 40th anniversary. And although it has remained on air for four decades, Ferre said she and the team aren’t resting on their laurels.
