GMA Network’s home-grown talent Mark Herras will remain a loyal Kapuso.
The “Star Struck” alumnus renewed his contract with the network on Thursday, August 16.
Present in the contract signing were GMA Network Chairman and CEO Felipe L. Gozon, Senior Vice President for GMA Entertainment Content Group Lilybeth Rasonable, and GMA Artist Center AVP for Talent Imaging and Marketing Simoun Ferrer.
In his Instagram post, he said he is “Still and will always be a Kapuso!” He also thanked GMA for trusting him for more than 15 years. “Excited for another chapter of my life with you!” he added.
Since he shot to fame when he won the network’s flagship reality talent search “Star Struck,” he had been among GMA’s most sought-after and bankable stars.
Given his striking looks and good dancing skills, he quickly won the hearts of female viewers. His dancing skills earned him the moniker “Bad boy of the Dance Floor.”
He has starred in a number of Kapuso series, mostly together with his fellow “Star Struck” batchmate and ex-girlfriend Jennylyn Mercado.
After 15 years in the industry, he remains in the scene and eager as ever to explore more possibilities with GMA. /ee
