Kapamilya actress Sue Ramirez admitted that like many others, she had suffered from depression once.
She said she was certain there was a low point in her life when she struggled emotionally.
“Around mid-last year, nagkaroon ng time na wala akong emosyon (there was a time that I don’t have emotions) for 2 weeks. I was trying to be happy, be sad, trying to get mad pero (but) I can’t reach any emotion,” she said in her Wednesday guesting on Inquirer ShowbizLive.
“Hanggang sa tinatry ko umiyak pero wala pa rin ako talagang nararamdaman I think po kasi hindi ako sanay mag-isa (I tried to cry but I can’t feel anything. I think it’s because I’m not used to be alone),” she added.
She added that since she has lived with her family all her life, moving out to live on her own is something she was not emotionally prepared for.
“Feeling ko yun yung dahilan siguro, loneliness (I have a feeling that’s the reason – loneliness),” she said.
She, however, shied away from giving advice to millennials going through depression as she feels she is not in a position to do so. /ee
