‘Unli Life’ Grand Press Conference

‘Unli Life’ from Regal Entertainment, Inc. is Vhong Navarro’s latest lead starring role. When you have a pure comedic-actor in the likes of Vhong Navarro, the expectation of having a fun and hilarious time watching this movie is justified. From its full trailer and behind-the-scenes footage I have seen so far, my gut feel really tells me that this movie will not disappoint at all.

I have been a fan of Vhong Navarro’s work for a long time. Even as a kid I remember first seeing him as part of the all-male dance group from the 90’s “The Streetboys” when they guested on ‘Home Along Da Riles’ which was my favorite local sitcom then. Vhong Navarro was around comedy legend Dolphy in that popular and beloved sitcom from the 90’s; I would like to think that perhaps some of Dolphy’s comedic genius must have rubbed off somehow on Vhong Navarro.

To be able to see Vhong Navarro finally at the Grand Press Con was a big treat for me. And let me tell you, he is as funny in person as he is in the sitcoms and movies he has appeared in. He certainly comes true to form! One very funny guy, this man is. You can’t seem to have enough of him.

Now, let’s get back to ‘Unli Life’. Vhong Navarro’s brilliant comedic timing, witty comebacks, and natural flair in being funny will all come into perfect play in this movie’s out-of-box plot which will keep moviegoers in stitches.

Plus, for the very first time Vhong Navarro will be paired up with Wynwin Marquez. This is the very first movie of WynWin Marquez who is the daughter of Joey Marquez who also happens to be a part of this upcoming movie. As we all know, Joey Marquez is also one of the funniest actors around ever since his years in ‘Palibhasa Lalake’ where he became a household name. Who can ever forget the role Joey Marquez had in ‘Palibhasa Lalake’!

You’ve got one of the funniest people on local television and movies from the 90’s in Joey Marquez who works in this movie with one of the current remaining true Filipino comedic-actors, Vhong Navarro. The past and present of two eras are represented here with Joey Marquez and Vhong Navarro. If you are a fan of true Pinoy humor, how can you possibly not be excited about this coming movie ‘Unli Life’? I know I am.

Below is my question for Vhong Navarro, Winwyn Marquez and Joey Marquez.

Can you share with us a funny or unforgettable experience while filming ‘Unli Life’?

Kumbaga, binuo namin yung pelikula as a team.

Tagal! Basta one whole day namin ginawa yun. One whole day. Tapos, lahat ng cast nakipag work together, coordinate. It wasn’t easy kasi isang shot lang siya na tuloy-tuloy ang montage, iba-iba yung feel, iba-iba yung damit, may quick change pa, tapos sobrang saya dun at nakakatawa pa.

Ang galing-galing ng buong team for doing that.
